I'm on a mission to unlock the immense potential within Africa's youth, and the urgency of this mission is clear: over 60% of Africa's youth population is unemployed (Source: African Development Bank). This isn't just a statistic; it's a crisis that demands immediate action.

Yes, the stark realities of this youth unemployment and inadequate education in Africa fuel my passion and drive as millions of young Africans face a bleak future, with statistics revealing alarming rates of joblessness and a significant skills gap. This is why I'm dedicated to making a tangible difference. 

At the heart of my work is Youthup Global, a rapidly expanding social enterprise committed to tackling youth unemployment through comprehensive human capital development.  We've been privileged to impact over 10,000 young lives across the continent, equipping them with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive. Furthering this mission, Utidia, our educational research, training, and funding hub, is at the forefront of the fight for quality, accessible, and affordable education in Africa.  Through the Utidia Apprenticeship Institute, we are revolutionizing learning by championing hands-on, in-demand practical skills training.  Our AIM (Apprenticeship, Internship, and Mentorship) model directly addresses the critical skills gap, preparing youth for meaningful employment.

Beyond organizational impact, I'm committed to individual growth. As a dedicated career coach and mentor, I guide and empower individuals to achieve their professional aspirations.  My faith deeply informs all that I do, and I am also passionate about sharing messages of hope and purpose as a Kingdom Preacher. I believe that collaboration and strategic partnerships are essential for transformative change, and I am always eager to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations working towards a brighter future for Africa's youth.

Every time I see updates like this from YouthUp Global, I’m reminded of why this vision began.

I didn’t start YouthUp Global because I had everything figured out.

I started it because I knew what it felt like to be skilled, ambitious, and hardworking — yet invisible to opportunity.

For many young Africans, the real barrier isn’t talent.

It’s proof of work, visibility, and access.
From this reality, Youthup Global emerged as a mission-driven movement to help young Africans do three things:

Our early years were shaped by programs that helped young people gain real-world exposure — fellowships, internships, and experience-building support that opened doors for remarkable talents across Africa.

Those foundations became the seed for Utidia, our digital apprenticeship engine.

One thing I’ve learned from working with professionals at different stages — beginners, mid-level, and experienced — is this:
