From one perspective, I did pretty well overall… 
As a guy from a wayyy backward village doing stuff no one around has idea about. Slowly treading towards the dreams that were once blurry, unrealistic, hard, and too crazy to believe…

But from another perspective…I got slowed down. 
& no one else is to blame. It was me who got distracted by totally unrelated stuff. I compromised on my discipline. I wasted time uselessly. I stepped out of my “circle of influence”...

And for that, I’m the one to take responsibility. 

Allah was so Raheem that he still blessed me with clients & work. 
And also a team that I can lean on. 
And to somehow manage work amid all the mental chaos. 

This post is a confession of mine.

SEO still takes 3-4 months to give you the results that matter for your business. 

“Ohh, but it’s not 2020…now it only takes a week to rank.”

Bullshitt. 

We’ve ranked blog posts in 1st position in a day. 
But on sites that already have their foundation built. 

But if you have a dead website…or starting from scratch…hold your horses. Be patient. SEO is going to take time. Organic growth isn’t easy, no matter how expert an AI ninja you are. 

Ohh, I know things have changed. 
Now it’s AIO, GEO, CSO,  LLMO, VSO in the mix. 

But I swear, the basics are the same. 

If you want long-term, sustainable growth, you gotta get your basics right. The strategy, research, writing, distribution…everything. And to build a foundation on the right pillars, you need to have 3-4 months. No matter how fast or in bulk you’re posting. 

The point of this post?
Unfortunately, there’s still no shortcut.
And you should know this fact when you’re in 2026.
