- To create personal brand identity that is as strong and consistent as the sigil of a Great House of Westeros, with visual elements that embody client's personality and values. (Can't get enough of GOT) 

-To don the role of a go-to creative hero researching, developing and documenting original content for Social media, ads, emails, Web pages, landing pages, blogs, articles etc.

-To be Donna (Suits fans, make some noise) because Donna knows everything. To constantly monitor and keep an eye on the trends and happenings in the industry. To edit and fact-check content created by Junior Copywriters.

-To ensure to elevate the brochures, banners, emails, Web copy, ad copy etc that passes by my desk to a Monica clean, crisp and perfect level. (Friends fan, this one is for you) 


-To be professor Sergio Marquina to my coworkers and use SEO practice to optimise the content, collaborate with copywriters to create bomb concepts and associate with Designers to develop outstanding visuals. (I am so in love with Money Heist) 

-To be a go-to human interviewing clients and experts to generate creative ideas, shaping tone and language for usage in brochures, banners, web copy, sales emails etc

“I almost said no to an opportunity that changed the entire course of my career.”

More than a decade ago, when I was training in colleges, a new opportunity came my way — a corporate training assignment.

It was something I had never done before, and honestly, I was nervous.
Questions filled my mind —
🤔How will I connect with professionals?
🤔Will I be able to meet their expectations?
🤔Do I even belong in the corporate training space?

That’s when my husband sat me down and said something that completely shifted my thinking —

 “Why are you looking at it as something you’ve never done?
Look at it as an opportunity to do something new, something different, and to learn in the process.”

That mindset shift changed everything for me.
I realized that our biggest limitation often isn’t our skillset, but our mindset.

Yes, there are times when we aren’t fully prepared or don’t have all the answers —
but it’s our willingness to step forward, learn, and grow that truly shapes our journey.

That one opportunity became so much more than just a new assignment —
it became a chance to impact people, touch lives, and make a difference through what I love doing most — helping others grow.

I’m so glad I took that leap.
There’s been no looking back since then — from training young professionals to collaborating with leaders across industries, from conducting in-person sessions to designing large-scale organizational interventions — every step has been a new learning, a new evolution.

And it all began with a simple shift in mindset.

Teams mirror their leader.🪞 

I’m reminded of this truth in almost every leadership training I conduct.

After the session, participants often say —
“Please conduct these sessions for our bosses too!”

When I ask why, they share —
“We’re trying to communicate better.”
“We’re learning to prioritise and manage stress.”
“We genuinely try to resolve conflicts…”
“But what do we do when our leaders don’t reciprocate?”

They talk about leaders who micromanage, focus only on mistakes, get aggressive, or expect blind execution without sharing the big picture.

And it hits me every time —
✨ You can’t expect growth if you don’t model it.
✨ You can’t demand trust if you don’t show it.
✨ You can’t expect empathy if you never practice it.

So leaders — before asking “When will my team change?”
Pause and reflect —
“What do I need to change first?”

Because at the end of the day,

In leadership trainings, I often hear managers say,

“I lost my temper in the moment… and later regretted it.”

It happens to the best of us.
😡A sharp word in a meeting.
😡A frustrated reaction to a mistake.
😡An angry email sent too soon.

But here’s the truth—
Anger doesn’t punish others. It punishes us—and sometimes, our credibility as leaders.

When we lead through anger, people don’t remember the message.
They remember the tone.

A few strategies I often share with leaders:
✅ Pause & Breathe before reacting—it buys you clarity.
✅ Count to 10—those seconds can save relationships.
✅ Ask: “Will this still matter next week?”
✅ Be assertive, not aggressive—firm yet respectful communication earns trust.

Let's not forget - Holding onto anger is like holding a burning coal—you’re the one who gets burned first.

True leadership isn’t about controlling others.
It’s about mastering yourself.

"Why fit in when you were born to stand out?" – Dr. Seuss

Today, I want to share something that has been on my mind—a growing concern I see among teenagers and young adults: the pressure to conform- peer pressure!

Whether it’s about making certain choices, engaging in behaviors like drinking or smoking, or dressing and acting a certain way, the social pressure to fit in is real and overwhelming.

This pressure creates unnecessary stress, affecting mental well-being and sometimes even finances, as young people try to match their actions to others' expectations.

Here are a few things that I always tell my daughters, participants and mentees to avoid the peer pressure trap:

📍Know Your Values: Be clear about your beliefs, right and wrong, and what truly matters to you.

📍Learn to Say "No": Practice assertive communication and say no politely but firmly.

📍Choose Friends Wisely: Surround yourself with people who respect your choices and encourage you to be yourself.

📍Seek Support: Don’t hesitate to talk to parents, mentors, or counselors when faced with tough decisions.

📍Build Self-Confidence: Focus on your strengths and unique qualities to reduce the need for external validation.

📍Pause and Reflect: Before following the crowd, take a moment to evaluate if it aligns with your values and long-term goals.

It’s time we encourage the younger generation to embrace their individuality and empower them to resist the pressures of conformity. As parents, mentors, and society, we play a critical role in making this possible.

During a recent training session on Office Etiquette, we were discussing how important it is to stay away from gossip and office politics.

That’s when one participant raised a point that really made me pause.
She said —

“Ma’am, what you’re saying is right, but practically we can’t stay away from it.
And if we don’t get involved, we miss out on understanding office power dynamics… and might even be left out.”

That statement hit hard — because it’s honest.

Here’s what I shared with the group:

✅ 1️⃣ “It’s not possible to stay away from gossip.”
You’re right — we can’t control the environment.
But we can control our participation.
You can stay aware without getting involved.
You can listen mindfully without contributing.
You can maintain connections without compromising integrity.
Boundaries don’t make you distant — they make you dependable.

✅ 2️⃣ “We’ll be left out if we don’t join in.”
Let’s rethink what being included really means.
Being part of the crowd is easy.
Being trusted and respected is earned.
Yes, you may miss a few conversations — but you’ll gain something far more valuable:
Credibility, peace of mind, and long-term respect.

Because gossip may give temporary inclusion, but integrity earns lasting influence.
