- To create personal brand identity that is as strong and consistent as the sigil of a Great House of Westeros, with visual elements that embody client's personality and values. (Can't get enough of GOT) 

-To don the role of a go-to creative hero researching, developing and documenting original content for Social media, ads, emails, Web pages, landing pages, blogs, articles etc.

-To be Donna (Suits fans, make some noise) because Donna knows everything. To constantly monitor and keep an eye on the trends and happenings in the industry. To edit and fact-check content created by Junior Copywriters.

-To ensure to elevate the brochures, banners, emails, Web copy, ad copy etc that passes by my desk to a Monica clean, crisp and perfect level. (Friends fan, this one is for you) 


-To be professor Sergio Marquina to my coworkers and use SEO practice to optimise the content, collaborate with copywriters to create bomb concepts and associate with Designers to develop outstanding visuals. (I am so in love with Money Heist) 

-To be a go-to human interviewing clients and experts to generate creative ideas, shaping tone and language for usage in brochures, banners, web copy, sales emails etc

This is not a promotion post.
This is a wake-up call especially for women.

I recently came across a Paytm ad that made me pause and question myself.

A group of men and women were asked simple financial questions:
“If your answer is yes, step forward. If no, step back.”
By the end, most women stood behind. Most men were ahead.

Why?

Because they were more financially aware, more involved…
while many women (including me) often think,
“Why should I bother? My husband/ dad will handle it.”

We talk about gender equality,
yet in our own homes we silently accept that “finances are his department.”

Before deciding whether this applies to you, answer these honestly:

🤔Do you track the budget?

🤔Do you know the exact breakup of your own salary?

🤔Do you understand the difference between a Mutual Fund and a SIP?

🤔Have you ever purchased an insurance policy on your own?

🤔Have you filed your own taxes?


If even one answer is “no,” maybe it’s time to rethink.

For years, society has labeled certain responsibilities as “women’s jobs” and others as “men’s jobs.”
Finances almost always fell on the men’s side.

It’s time to change that narrative—not to prove that we’re better or equal—
but to be aware, confident, and in control of our own money and decisions.

Financial independence isn’t about competition.
It’s about clarity, security, and self-respect.

Let’s bridge that gap—starting today. 💙

As kids, it took just one nudge, one tease, or one sarcastic comment to spark a full-blown fight.
We reacted instantly.
They knew our triggers… and we knew theirs.

But as we grew up, something shifted.

In the video I’m sharing, one dog is barking nonstop… and the other doesn’t even flinch.
That’s exactly what maturity looks like.

Because life doesn’t get quieter.
People still make noise.
Situations still try to pull you in.
Behaviours still demand a reaction.

What changes is you.

Today, you pause.
You think.
You choose.
You’ve learned to stay calm, stay centred, and stay in control.

You don’t respond because someone is loud.
You respond because you are composed.

That’s emotional maturity —
not about staying silent, but choosing your reactions wisely.

Because not every bark deserves your energy.

Ever noticed how quickly we shift from listening to defending the moment someone disagrees with us?

It happens at home.
It happens at work.
And more often than we realise.

In a recent training, I saw a participant trying hard to prove he was right. The moment a different perspective surfaced, his tone changed and his defensiveness took over.

But the truth is… most of us do this.
Our posture tightens, our tone becomes firm, and we stop being open.

Why?
Because being right feels safe.
It protects our ego and validates our competence.

But nothing breaks when we're wrong.

We simply learn something we didn’t know before.
Even SMEs don’t have all the answers.
And two people can be right in their own context.

In my sessions, I remind participants:

When the “need to be right” takes over:
• Pause and ask: “Am I adding value or just defending?”
• Listen to understand, not to respond.
• Treat viewpoints as information, not threats.
• Allow for the possibility that the other person also has a point.

Being “on” is easy. 
Staying “on” is what drains introverts.

Last weekend at a wedding, I found myself talking to someone who’s an introvert like me.
And it reminded me of something we often overlook in corporate life too:

Introverts aren’t antisocial.
We love conversations, connections, and meaningful interactions — whether at family events or at work.
But once the environment gets too loud, too crowded, or too “on display”… our energy starts dipping fast.
Even a simple smile for one more photo (or one more meeting) can feel like effort.

Not everyone gets energised by open office floors, back-to-back meetings, forced fun, or large townhalls.
Many introvert employees thrive when given space to think, recharge, and return with clarity.

So here’s a thought worth reflecting on:
Are we designing workplaces for all personality types — or only for the ones who speak the loudest?

A little room for quiet can unlock a lot more brilliance.

A question we answer every day…
yet rarely with the truth.

Most of us say “I’m okay”

Because today, honesty needs safety—

If you have that one person, hold on to them.
They’re not common.
