-To don the role of a go-to creative hero researching, developing and documenting original content for Social media, ads, emails, Web pages, landing pages, blogs, articles etc.

-To be Donna (Suits fans, make some noise) because Donna knows everything. To constantly monitor and keep an eye on the trends and happenings in the industry. To edit and fact-check content created by Junior Copywriters.

-To ensure to elevate the brochures, banners, emails, Web copy, ad copy etc that passes by my desk to a Monica clean, crisp and perfect level. (Friends fan, this one is for you) 


-To be professor Sergio Marquina to my coworkers and use SEO practice to optimise the content, collaborate with copywriters to create bomb concepts and associate with Designers to develop outstanding visuals. (I am so in love with Money Heist) 

-To be a go-to human interviewing clients and experts to generate creative ideas, shaping tone and language for usage in brochures, banners, web copy, sales emails etc

Also involved in mentoring junior developer towards creation of Test framework to test the Embedded Controller code

 - Resolved issues related to a feature that enables the system to perform auto checking of booting related issues.
 - Implemented code to reduce the load on the BIOS and Embedded Controller communication by using ACPI-EC communication (mentioned in UEFI specification) instead of Mailbox communication.

As Technical Architect I performed overlapping roles that deal with technical activities and mentoring junior developers and making them project ready.

Thoroughly enjoyed both the activities. I should say, mentoring a bit more than the challenging technical job.

Should you target startups?
Or MNCs?
Here’s a framework to help you decide 👇🏻

Most LinkedIn debates make you choose “THIS” or “THAT,” 
when in reality the truth is a lot messier and a lot more personal.

“Startups give the best exposure.”
 vs.
“MNCs give stability and brand name.”

Both can be true.
Both can be false.


It depends on you.
But what almost everyone forgets is this:

 You don’t have two options.
 You actually have three different lanes to aim for:

Startups (0–50 employees)
Mid-Size Companies (50–500)
Large MNCs / Tier-1s (500+)

And which one you should focus on depends on several factors (seven in our case).
 Your time to value.
 Your learning style.
 Your risk appetite.
 Your growth expectations.
 Your salary vs skill priorities.
 Your patience with process.
 Your hunger for ownership.

Check the chart to see where you fall.

And yes, I already know what you’re about to say:
“YOU SHOULD APPLY TO ALL THREE!!”

This is true.
 But most early-career engineers don’t have the skill-muscle, 
portfolio-muscle, or clarity-muscle to do that well.

You’ll get much more growth (and sanity) by picking one lane and putting at least 80% of your effort there.
Your lane is your leverage.

Here’s what finally matters:
Only 5–10% of all real product-company opportunities 
ever appear publicly.

The rest sit inside the hidden job market :
referrals, internal pools, private networks, 
unposted roles, “someone recommended you,” and 
managers hiring quietly.

What most engineers do wrong:

They target based on:
 → Job boards
 → “Actively hiring” posts
 → Mass-apply cycles
 → Random LinkedIn uploads
 → 200+ online applications

This finds companies who could hire.
Not the ones who are actually hiring.

You will -

Why this works:

Your outreach becomes:

The difference:
Most engineers apply to 1000 visible openings.
Top candidates target 50 hidden-market signals.

Both get interviews.

The second group gets better roles, faster responses, 
and startups, product-company visibility.
