- Working on Eglinton Crosstown LRT (ECLRT) project in City of Toronto

- The ECLRT will be a 19.7 km long line, including 25 stations and stops running along Eglinton Avenue from Mount Dennis (in the west) to Kennedy (in the east)

- Design of Signalling system including trackside equipment, wayside equipment, signal room equipment and control room equipment

- Technical management of train control system projects executed by vendors

- System design to meet for operational capacity and project functionality requirements

- Integration of train control & signaling system design into stations, stops, traction Power Sub-stations, maintenance & storage facilities and control centers in accordance with project
requirements

- Working with the system design teams, other domain teams and the requirements management team within the rail control systems directorate on specification and delivery of these various train control & signaling systems into overall rail and mass transit project solutions

- Interfacing with design groups (communications, fixed facilities, etc.) and with external team members (architects, code consultants, major suppliers, etc.)

- Component, sub-system and system procurement (technical specifications, vendor selections, post-award support, etc.)

- Delivery of design\construction and interface control documentation

- Interaction with operations and maintenance teams

- Support of construction and installation activities in the field

- Support for test & commissioning and setting to work of mass transit, urban rail and heavy
freight signaling and control systems

Signaling & Train Control System - EIT

PNR RailWorks

- PNR RailWorks’ Signals & Communications Division (PNR S&C) is performing, in joint venture with Alstom Transport Canada Inc. (Alstom), at Union Station Rail Corridor (USRC) Signalling project

- Vintage system will  replace with modern, state-of-the-art equipment, of all signals, track circuits and cables in the USRC, as well as the installation, testing and commissioning of all new solid state interlockings and control equipment.

- Working on the line with machine parts and       perform quality checks in a timely manner

- Machine set-up and programming

- Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine control

- Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using precision measuring instruments

- Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.

- Housekeeping and light maintenance of the quality assurance work areas.

- Analyze job production data such as production time, material consumption, and first time right for each production area

- Evaluate condition and reliability of production equipment.
