    Develop equipment and process Specification for new equipment and new process. Lean equipment design for new process to achieve high quality, low cost and high Productivity. Quote and Coordinate with vendors to build new equipment for the new assembly process. Provides technical direction, assistance and training to the personal of Latch and Striker assembly process on the new equipment for Resistor Welding, Orbital Peening, Functional Test and Screw assembly.  Development and follow up plans to transfer assembly lines between assemblies Plants, base on Lean manufacturing guide lines. Development the process documents (PCP, PFMEA, and PFD) for the new process. Development the Preventive Maintenance Procedure for the new equipment. Maintains cost controls of projects that are under my responsibility. Follow the Process Development Product for new products. 

KEY PROJECTS AND SELECTED ACOMPLISHMENTS:
	Develop New Assembly process for GEN2 Latch. Under this role develop plans and coordinated efforts with equipment vendors and ME in the Plant to design, build and install the equipment into the Matamoros Plant. This project was successfully accomplished in a timely manner, under budget, and with good Production start up.
	Project to move assembly lines from Columbus plant in USA to the Matamoros Plant in Mexico. Under this role coordinated efforts of professionals between the two plants and corporate to move the assembly equipment. Manufacturing Engineering Manager: (March 2002 – June 2005)

    Management the Manufacturing Engineering team, Engineering Validations, and Engineering Documentation (10 Eng. direct reports to me). Management Eng. Budget, direct support to the operation day to day by solving performance issues regards to quality, uptime, and efficiency. Implementation of the procedures & Methods to achieve the manufacturing process with safety, high quality and low cost. Work with Project Managers of Phase 0-2 to Lead and Implement new launches and follow the PDP process to meet the customer requirements. Ensure that software validations (PLC, etc), follow PMA, as well as engineering documents (drawings, bills of materials, routings, and work instructions) were in compliance with the QSR, ISO/ TS 16949 and the internal Quality System. 

KEY PROJECTS AND SELECTED ACOMPLISHMENTS:
	Project manager for the implementation of the OEE and process performance tracking system.
	OEE was improved from below 60% to above 80% in one year period (averages plant wide).
	Developed the justification of $0.5 Million USD about capital investment to support the operation.
	Project to move HVAC and AD assembly lines from RBXX to RBXI. Under this role coordinated efforts of professionals in the two plants and corporate to move the assembly equipment. This project was successfully accomplished in a timely manner, under budget, and with good relations with customers.

Eng Coordinator (Product AD and HVAC for automotive Industries) (June 2000 – March 2002)

   Implementation and Management the Engineering Projects, Lead the engineer to design, implement procedures & Methods to achieve manufacturing process with safety, high quality and low cost (with 6 Eng. direct reports to me). Supervise the new product introductions, new technologies, and automation projects. Direct support to the operation day to day by solving performance issues regards with the equipment up-time. Ensure the implementation and follow up of Lesson Learned and perform look across to improve OEE, Quality, and the employee comfort systems were well maintained. 

KEY PROJECTS AND SELECTED ACOMPLISHMENTS:
	Project Leader to Improve Scrap from 10% to 2% on AD Process. Under this responsibility coordinate Maintenance and Engineering group to solve the quality issue to improve the scrap. This project was successfully accomplished in timely manner and meets the goal. 
	Implement new GMT 900 AD (Accumulator Dehydrator). Under this role coordinated efforts of professionals Phase O-2 ME group and ME Plant group to implement new assembly equipment. This project was successfully accomplished in timely manner, under budget, and with good relations with customers.

Industrial Eng.  (Product AD and HVAC for automotive Industries) (Aug 1998 – June 2000)

     Planed and implemented Lay Out for new products and Process under the PDP process, and under the Lean Manufacturing approach; Process balance, Implement Standardize work in the manufacturing Process, develop a Lay Out for transfer the AD assembly process from Delphi Moraine Plant USA to RBXX Plant in Mexico. Develop MSD for new process or process improvement.
