I'm hard at work at the new house/business HQ this morning (since 4am) getting the server/infrastructure sorted now that we have our enterprise fiber connection sorted (thanks Darcy Skinner Aussie Broadband nbn® Australia UGL and all the others I can't tag). At this stage my plan is to be fully moved by next week (just have the cat / server / storage logistics to plan). At that point, I'll get straight into producing content again together with James Lee

Right to left (important things)

- ladder
- 2 x rigid conduits leading to the house external wall
- NBN Enclosure containing BNTD
- Connected smoke alarm (safety first people)
- network rack (router, 10 gig poe switch, 25 gig aggregation switch, UNVR (cameras), AI Key (for image identification), a fair few brushed alu blanking plates and a 2U 2000W UPS)
- Ecoflow delta pro ultra + 5 x 6 Kwh Batteries. The UPS provides the power conditioning and single digit ms failover, the ecoflow provides 3-4 days of power backup for the networking and anything which is powering (wifi APs, cameras etc)
- Server rack, which right now only contains a 2 x 2000W UPS (independently fed from 15 amp supplies)

There will be more in here soon and what you can't see is a dedicated room AC for all of this gear to keep it cool.

I'm excited ... progress is being made with the https://learn.cantrill.io business HQ/house move. nbn® Australia provided a delivery date (latest) of April 8th but based on the guys on the ground it might be done much sooner (next few weeks).

A ton of stuff has happened since my last update. Regarding the business fiber, UGL (a major NBN delivery partner) organised a survey which involves a field team mapping the entire end2end route and making sure there are no conduit or pit collapses. This went pretty well ... they identified a broken conduit outside my house and one on the external route which required a repair. They fixed those things and then used a vac truck and bag to rope the entire route, this rope is used to pull the fiber.

We're just waiting on nbn® Australia to approve the design and then the ground crews can get the install done which should be REALLY easy since the distance from the new premises to the NBN fiber access node is 300 meters or  so. (if anyone at nbn® Australia wants to review and approve ... you're amazing in advance).

Once approved, it's probably going to be ~1 week to get the install physical done and then a few days for my ISP to do their side and then I'll be up and running. 

All the other stuff is done. I have a studio ready to go, the electrical works are finished, all the networking is done and I'm just working on the "cat" features of the house (think lots of beds, hammocks etc).

I will be back producing content rapidly very soon - thanks for everyones patience on this, it's been a bit of a mission. Assuming the NBN overlords/ladies are good to me I hope the next update will be a good one.
