I have always had an interest in health, wellbeing, and healthy lifestyles.
 
With a degree in Psychology and Sports Science, and a Masters and PhD in Health Psychology, I’ve worked in academic health research for almost 20 years, focusing on prevention of cardiovascular disease. 
 
I became frustrated how often changes in health behaviours were not sustainable in the long-term. I wanted people to achieve long-term health and well-being. Surely there must be a way? 
 
Then I discovered health coaching and was convinced this was the answer. During lockdown I decided to follow my passion, and qualified as a health and nutrition coach. It brought together my scientific knowledge with coaching skills needed to help people achieve and maintain their health goals. 
 
A year later, with my new qualification under my belt, Create Health was born to help people take control of their health and stop the downward health spiral, keeping them active, full of energy, happy and healthy, and avoiding the diseases of older age we perceive as inevitable.
