Het is officieel er komen advertenties in ChatGPT 

OpenAI begint met testen in de Verenigde Staten met advertenties binnen de gratis versie en binnen een nieuwe goedkopere variant van ChatGPT (Go: $8 per maand) 

Ze hebben een paar belangrijke regels gepubliceerd: 
↳  Advertenties worden alleen onderaan de pagina getoond 
↳  Adverteerders krijgen geen inzicht in je gesprekken 
↳ Er wordt niet op “time spent” geoptimaliseerd 

Laat ik die laatste nog even kort uitleggen. Social media verdienen meer als ze meer advertenties kunnen tonen.
Hoe meer tijd we besteden, hoe meer ze verdienen.
Dat principe geldt (nog) niet voor ChatGPT.

In mijn lezingen heb ik het vaak over Tobi Lütke, CEO van Shopify. En wat deze man nu weer heeft gedaan…

“Proof that AI can’t do the job before we hire new people” dat is de uitspraak waarmee hij opzien heeft gebaard. 
En ja daar zit wel een kern van waarheid in. 

Maar wat heeft deze MRI scan daarmee te maken? 

Nou, Tobi vertrouwde de oude Microsoft software die gebruikt werd voor de analyse van zijn MRI scan niet. 
Dus heeft hij door het taalmodel Claude vliegensvlug zijn eigen software laten bouwen. 
Hij kreeg hiermee exact hetzelfde resultaat als die oude ziekenhuis software, maar dan in een overzichtelijke interface. 

Ik denk dat de meeste niet eens doorhebben wat er vandaag de dag al mogelijk is…
