But only if you commit to showing up, even when it's uncomfortable.

And you don't want that


If you want to get personal without going private, only share the pains you've overcome and are living on the other side of

Why?

These stories don't just make you feel relatable

But they also empower your target audience 

And place you as a leader with heart, who they can count on and trust 

Because you've walked the walk
And come out on the other side 

Your story then gives them permission to do the same.


This will help you stop overthinking how vulnerable you are allowed to get on LinkedIn

Am I fully healed from this?


This question checklist filters what stories you should tell and what stories are best kept private.

Some female founders cringe at the word "personal brand"

Because of how it's been presented. 

You'd hear things like, "I don't want to become an influencer "

I don't want to be chasing likes and comments

Moreover, I don't want to be taken less seriously

and I get this resistance. 
I've also once wondered what the distinction was 


Which is why I care so much about restoring the pride in owning a personal brand

Not as an influencer 
Not as someone chasing cheap dopamine 

But as a Thought Leader and builder 
Someone with invaluable knowledge and experiences to share

Someone with a resilient story
Because this is what people are actually craving... the real stuff

Not perfectly formatted post or sly hooks

But the real depth
The kind you can’t fake
The kind that changes the word influencer to a person of influence

And they are not the same
One is operating from fitting in with trends 
The other is setting new standards and standing behind it

One relies on validation 
The other lives for impact 

A personal brand isn't a costume
Building yours gives you distribution and equity in the long-term 

It shouldn't be scoffed at

And when you've got the real depth to share, you shouldn't be the one stepping away from the limelight

With your personal brand;

You can close the trust gap faster
You'd attract better funding and partnerships
You'd turn your credibility into real opportunities 


Now, this is something to be proud of
Because if the people who lack credibility and depth aren't scared of being loud on social media
