▹ Worked across the full product lifecycle—from concept generation to engineering drawings and offshore manufacture.

▹ Performed mechanical analysis including FEA and tolerance stack-up studies to support robust, high-precision design.

▹ Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to prototype and refine components using in-house prototyping and test rigs. With a hands-on approach my time was evenly split between Unigraphics NX and the workshop.

▹ Created 2D technical drawings and authored tooling and transfer-of-knowledge reports for manufacturers in Malaysia.

▹ Gained practical experience in DFM, injection moulding, and high-volume manufacturing, applying strong awareness of tooling and assembly constraints.

Product Design Engineer

Lead Industrial / Mechanical Design Engineer with nearly 20 years’ experience delivering technically demanding, user-focused products across sectors including  consumer electronics, mixed reality, medical, construction and agritech. 

Equally comfortable leading teams or getting hands-on, I guide projects from concept through to production—combining engineering rigour with creative problem-solving.  

As co-founder of a design consultancy and lead on multi-disciplinary teams, I’ve built a track record of commercially successful, manufacturable solutions. 
I bring a deep interest in UAS platforms, strong cross-functional leadership, and a calm, decisive approach shaped by real-world emergency service experience. 
Outside of work, you’ll find me flying FPV drones, driving fire engines, or losing a LEGO brawl with my kids.
