At this point, this line doesn’t sound impressive, it’s annoying and sounds performative to say the least

Because we all know what usually comes before it.

Designers spending hours on interviews, reworking case studies, and maybe do take home assignments for days & over-explaining decisions, waiting for updates that never arrive. Juniors, seniors, people who genuinely cared. And then silence. 

No rejection or feedback. Just ghosted.
Rejection is part of the process, everyone knows that but ghosting? 
That’s a choice!

What really pushes it into comedy is what these sloppy AI written content usually end with. A few generic lessons. Some recycled advice. 
And then, “DM me” or “Book a 1:1 call to crack interviews” for ₹500 [ Coupon: LETMEFOOLYOU ]

You can preach about empathy for the user in big design conferences but You couldn’t send a two-line rejection message/feedback, and then you have all the time in the world to sell confidence and mentorship?

Design is about empathy & basic decency when no one is watching. Empathy doesn’t show up in posts. It shows up in actions.
Because silence messes with confidence at any stage.
Still, designers keep going. We keep building, learning, and showing up despite the noise and that’s what I think the hopeful part is. That’s why this industry survives its own nonsense.

If you’re hiring, stop turning people into content.
Have some empathy. It’s really not that hard.

If you’re a designer, you’re not alone. Don’t let this mess define your worth. I know it’s easier said than done. Silence gets loud, doubt creeps in, and things feel heavy. But you still have to keep going, after all this you do deserve to see what's on the other side. 

And collectively, we can do better.
and honestly, we should.
