In my current position as the CTO, I continue to steer our Core Tech Team, maintaining a conducive environment for idea-sharing, goal-setting, and the seamless execution of technical standards across the company. My role extends to nurturing a culture of continuous learning and improvement among the team, ensuring we are at the forefront of technological advancements.

Supporting our sales department during pivotal customer engagements, I leverage my technical knowledge to foster trust and understanding with potential clients, aiding in the expansion of our customer base and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Furthermore, my responsibilities include providing support on a variety of technical and interpersonal issues to all colleagues, facilitating an environment where challenges are addressed promptly and efficiently. Through regular 1:1 meetings, I engage with many colleagues, assisting them in improving their communication, leadership, and technical problem-solving skills, thereby nurturing a workplace culture that encourages personal and professional growth for every team member.

My overarching goal remains to be a catalyst for innovation, ensuring our technical strategies align with the evolving market demands and contribute significantly to achieving our company's long-term objectives.

Chief Technology Officer

Lead of Core Tech Team: As lead I am responsible to organise group of senior developers, prepare all our meetings, set goals which we want to achieve, bring new ideas to the table and help implement technical standards across the company. My goal is to be opened to all ideas, support the best way I can any colleagues which need it and help solve any issues coming our way.

People Lead: This role give me the privilege of connecting with colleagues on a more personal level through our 1:1 meetings. I actively listen to their concerns, understand their day-to-day challenges, and guide them towards career advancement.

Product Owner: Leveraging my technical expertise, I translate customer insights into actionable product stories. I'm able to consider and imagine diverse use cases and understand their impact on the development process.

Lead developer: Working as lead developer gave me responsibility of delivering quality product and taking care of our team at the same time. I believe when you have great people in your team, that most issues can be resolved by proper, opened and on time communication. At the same time I was responsible to design and develop whole backend architecture.

Head of Technical recruitment: Making sure we find fitting & skilled engineers for projects by conducting and refining interviews.

Oh, regret was not for “Why I joined?”
But it was for “Why didn't I join earlier?”

Because I missed some legendary live calls.
Although I have the recordings of all calls.

But live calls give another kick.

Now I am working on my offer.
To make it so crystal & clear.

So my ICPs know, it’s for me.

I know, it’ll not be perfect.
Because it’s a process.

But most financial planners think:

They have the perfect offer.
But after talking to 30+ advisors.
I realised they have a LinkedIn problem.

They might have a perfect offer, but…
Often their profile lacks positioning it.

They might have a perfect offer, but…
They often lack in niching down their ICPs.

There are many things that we are not perfect at.
But ignoring or delaying it can be a bottleneck.

I started investing in 2020 Covid time.
I worked for 1 yr before I started my own.
I closed my highest-paying client last month.
I worked with 15+ clients & booked 100+ calls.

And that’s the best decision for my business.

Shifting to another city.
Living their lives.

Chill yeah, right? NO!

At least not for me.

For me:

Living with my parents is the best.
Because I can spend time with them.
Serve them physically, not just financially.

But how is it the best decision for my business?

I hear you :)

Because…

Living in a small city is pocket friendly.
I don’t need to pay hefty rent for a 4X4 room.
I don’t eat junk food that saves my health & money.
I can easily save and invest more than 90% of my income.
I don’t have those friends who waste my time and break my bank.

And the best thing… 

I can easily access nature on my roof that helps me avoid burnout.

And I say: I can’t say about other platforms.
But I am 100% sure about LinkedIn.

Because:

- LinkedIn is the No1 professional platform in the world.
- LinkedIn has 1 Bill+ users that’s ~15 % of the world.
- More than 50% of users are working professionals.
- Most of the large companies' leaders exist here.
- Decision makers & C-suite executives are here.
- HNIs, UHNIs & High Earning Self Employed.

And the list goes on…

I’d be not wrong, if I say: 
LinkedIn is the hub of clients for financial planners.

If you are not active on YT, IG or FB, then it’s okay.
But you need to be active on LinkedIn.

No matter why!

After 2 years, last week I collected my degree.

It’s just a piece of paper for me, but…

It was a dream for my parents.

For two years straight, I had no idea what I was doing.

Still I had no idea, lol.

But here’s why I chose to focus on my own thing rather than chasing a degree and then a job.

1.) I can stay with my parents.

No big city.
No distractions.
No big expenses.

The best thing, I can spend quality time with my family.

2.) I love what I do.

Generating leads. 
Making money for my clients.
Doing work that actually creates an impact.

Work that matters.

3.) I have the freedom to experiment.

No holding back ideas.
No asking for permission.
No dirty corporate politics.

Just strategy -> execution -> results

Choosing no income was hard. 
Going against the norm was hard.
Starting from zero was hard.

But choosing a life designed by others?

That was harder. 

Nothing great in life comes easy and looking back, I’d 100% go through it all again.

P.S. Shoutout to my local college, where regular class attendance is not necessary.

I avoid appreciations, but I accept criticisms.

And there’s a deep reason behind it. 

I was on a call with a CFP last week.
He started criticising my work and process.
He thought it doesn’t work at all for advisors.

I politely welcomed his criticisms, because…
It helps me improve my work, ethics & process.

I politely said that you are right on your side, but…

It doesn’t mean LinkedIn doesn’t work for lead gen.
I did that for myself and my clients. You’re the proof.
But it’s not your fault, because there is no awareness.

Most advisors are using LinkedIn only for networking.
They are not leveraging it for qualified call bookings.
They are not leveraging it to build a personal brand.

But it’s possible if we have the strategy & system.

And that’s what I want to share with you here.

Then I shared my strategy with him and…

He was impressed with the strategy.

Now I have the biggest offer in my hands.

So what’s the key learnings you can take from here?

These are:

1. Never get offended with criticism as it helps us improve.
2. Always be ready for the challenge you never expected.
3. Have the strategy & process in place to back yourself.

I almost dropped my iPad after listening this.

Elon Musk on Nithin Kamath’s podcast.

“Working would be optional in 20 yrs, like a hobby.”

Whaaatttt?

AI will handle most of the work we do.

He also talked about Indian founders.
Who are building from the scratch.

I think it was one of the best podcasts for founders who are building with AI.

Sad for them… who still think AI is not my cup of tea.

You are gonna lose something BIG!

His view on stock investing was interesting.
And I liked that part so much as an investor.

Damn, half of the podcast was spent on hahahaha :)

It reminded me of SRK’s movie - Baazigar. IYKYK!

If I have to take one takeaway from this podcast.

Then it'd: always leverage AI in my work, so…
I can save the most precious thing in the universe.

That is TIME.

Now they know, he understands my situation.
