You can now apply conditional logic to both tabs and cards inside your CRM record views.

Before today, you could only do this on the left and right sidebars. Now you can fully tailor what your team sees across the record.
Here’s why that matters:

 ✅ Clean up clutter by only showing what’s relevant for that record type or user

 ✅ Personalize by team so Sales, CS, or RevOps each see what matters to them

Now you can:
✅ Create custom properties on the Line Item object
✅ Build calculated or conditional fields (margin %, fees, logic-based discounts)
✅ Use them in quotes, workflows, and reporting
✅ Manage them all from Settings → Data Management → Properties, just like Contacts or Deals

This closes one of the big CPQ gaps in HubSpot’s CRM architecture.
It means that quoting and revenue reporting finally operate on the same object-level logic as deals and companies.

If you’ve ever hacked your way around this with custom code, spreadsheet exports, or tears, this update’s for you.

I did a deep dive into some recent customer feedback... and four themes kept showing up over and over again.

After weeks of calls, Demos, testing and amateur Canva skills, here's the overview of the CPQ and DealRoom solutions you should consider if you need to:

Here are my predictions for 2026:
- HubSpot will bring out their own DealRoom within Commerce Hub which will move the space
- Vendori will gain traction and become a well known CPQ/DealRoom player
- DealHub will struggle to retain customers as other (simpler) options become more prevalent


Two things to note:

😥 Unfortunately Salesforce and Nue.io both declined to demo their products without me having a live Salesforce environment. This is a big shame, as I would have loved to include them in the comparison. Both are only compatible with Salesforce, but Nue in particular would have competed in a few categories. 

⚠️ This is a subjective review of the platforms that were most recommended or were most visible when researching. If you are reviewing options and would like to know which vendors to review, I'd be happy to look at your use case and highlight the companies you should look into.
