But here's the thing: the difference between good and great is just iterations.

That's the reason they end up in a crisis, even though they are doing everything right.

They try to make money first, then find happiness.

But all they get is boredom and emptiness.

Meanwhile, the people who stayed curious?

They're winning.

Not because they ignored outcomes.

Building AI SaaS Tools from 🇮🇳 | Workflow Automations, AI & Marketing Consultant (Top 1%)

The "AI will kill SaaS" takes are missing the entire point.

I keep seeing otherwise brilliant people argue that AI will end Software-as-a-Service because now anyone can build software.

But here's what they're getting wrong:

SaaS was never really about the software.

It's about the SERVICE.

When a company buys Salesforce or Stripe or Snowflake, they're not paying for code they couldn't write themselves.

They're paying to NOT deal with:

→ Infrastructure scaling at 3am
→ Security compliance audits
→ Database migrations gone wrong
→ Support ticket floods
→ Feature prioritization debates
→ Technical debt accumulation

Yes, AI makes building software faster.

But building isn't the only hard part.

The real challenge is maintaining, scaling, and building a solid business around it.

That's the "as-a-Service" part.

It outsources the perpetual headache of operations, maintenance, and evolution.

AI doesn't change any of those business fundamentals.

Can AI help you build a CRM?

Absolutely.

I got a lot of hate for posting about how Jira sucks. 

So, I decided to build an alternative. 

Introducing - Verk

A task manager, designed for human-AI collaboration.

When I started working on this project... 

My goal was NOT to build a better Jira. 

It was to make the whole "update your tickets" problem irrelevant.

When I interviewed a few users, I realised that the real issue wasn't Jira's interface or features. 

It was that task managers require humans to stop working to update them.

So we just... don't.

But what if a task manager could update itself?

With Verk, you can create a task. 

Assign it to a human, and work just like you would.

I made the task-manager minimalistic, and forced myself to use it, till the time I no longer missed Jira.

But the best part about Verk isn't just the UX.

I'm working on making this a platform, where you can create your own AI agents, and have them work on your tasks on auto-pilot.

Just like a human, the AI: 

→ Picks up the task 
→ Does the actual work 
→ Updates the status 
→ Posts the results 
→ Moves to done

The same task in traditional workflow: 

Create ticket → Open ChatGPT → Prompt → Copy output → Format → Update ticket → 30 minutes of context switching.

All task managers currently excel at tracking work, but you can now do much background work, and remove work that isn't "work".

This project has been months in building, but it's finally read to hit the ground.
