What’s fascinating is how deeply some people react to protein conversations online.

Accounts like Maa Ji  are popping up under multiple posts, questioning protein and supplements, and even provoking founders like Diipa Khosla & Sameer Maheshwari  to respond.

It’s less about science and more about culture, habits, and generational perspectives, made visible in LinkedIn comment sections.

₹500 used to last me an entire month in college.

Breakfast, snacks, chai, photocopy costs, everything.

I would mentally calculate before spending on anything.
₹20 for lunch meant no evening snack.
₹10 extra on photocopies meant walking instead of taking the bus.

Every rupee had a purpose.

Last week, I spent ₹480 on a single coffee meeting.
Didn't think twice. Didn't even check the bill properly.

The money didn't change. My relationship with it did.

Back then, ₹500 represented careful decisions, trade-offs, and discipline.
Today, the same amount disappears without me even noticing.

It's not about earning more. It's about valuing less.

Somewhere between struggling to manage ₹500 and casually spending it, I lost the weight money used to carry.

Maybe that's what growing up does. It gives you more but makes you feel less.

When did money stop feeling valuable to you?

I got rejected from NMIMS.
And a 95 percentile in CAT that got me no other admit.

At the time, it felt like I was late.

Turns out, I was just early for a different path.

If you’re dealing with a rejection right now, does it feel like a stop or a redirection?

Not late. Just on a different timeline.

I couldn't walk properly after a conference.

6 months ago, I represented my organization at an industry event. 
By evening, my knees were done. 

The pain wasn't new, it had been showing up during lower body workouts for a while.

I did what most of us do. 
Rest. Ice. Balm. Painkillers. Knee sleeves.

Temporary relief. Every single time.

My coach finally said, "Go see a sports physio."

The diagnosis surprised me. My knees were fine.

The problem? 
My biomechanics were off. I was loading my joints instead of engaging my glutes and core.

Most joint pain isn't about the joint itself. It's about something else in the chain that's not doing its job.

And the solution isn't rest. 
It's MOVEMENT.

We're conditioned to think pain means stop. 
But often, pain means fix the way you move.

I started working on my movement patterns. 
The pain reduced. 
The workouts improved.

Last week, I was in a conversation when someone on my team casually mentioned she practices numerology.

I nodded. Didn’t think much of it.

A few minutes later, she asked if she could try something. 

She asked me for birthdates of a few people close to me and started describing them.

That’s when I stopped her.

Not because it felt off. But because a lot of what she was saying was uncomfortably accurate.

If this had come from an Instagram reel or a YouTube video, I would’ve brushed it off. 

But this was someone I work with. 
Someone I know. Someone I trust.

I still don’t know what I believe about it. 
I haven’t decided where I land. 

I just noticed myself paying more attention than I expected.
