To fully address this question, I took a poll last week to get the opinions of professionals, and this is how they responded:

➡️ Over half (56%) of respondents agree that, a Lack of a clear #AI strategy that is aligned to business objectives or goals is the reason why organizations are struggling with AI.

The above response perfectly corresponds with the responses we're getting from some of our clients. They express concerns that AI-powered tools are not fully utilized in their organization because they haven't found a way to optimize them to drive innovation and achieve measurable business outcomes.

➡️ Another key reason as indicated by 22% of the respondents is the lack of a clear know-how of applying AI to high-impact activities. 

This isn't far fetched. Business leaders don’t want AI limited to drafting emails, answering questions, or summarizing meetings. What they really want to see is AI driving real performance, helping employees hit their KPIs. 

For example, sales teams using AI to uncover real-time market and customer insights, pinpointing buying signals, anticipating objections, and prioritizing the right opportunities - so they can close deals faster, increase win rates, and grow revenue with confidence.

➡️ The last two sets of respondents (11% each) agreed that - difficulty in measuring outcomes - RoI, productivity, and impact; and low adoption rates in applying AI tools to core business applications are the reasons organizations are struggling. This response also matches what we're hearing from business leaders.

Overall, this poll has helped to uncover the most pressing AI challenges facing professionals.

But here’s the common misconception: access to AI does not equal AI capability.
