What I do for work - I niche out in hypergrowth scale-ups, talent networks and marketplaces, and companies that are undergoing massive amounts of tumultuous change. I'm a data-driven people person that measures feelings and operationalizes culture in a meaningful way. When you figure out what makes people tick, you can deliver messaging and value that converts.

In my spare time - I can often be found traveling and visiting tech communities and meetups around the world. I am a regular speaker at conferences and often volunteer my time for a variety of causes surrounding the refugee crisis, animal welfare, education, and mentorship.

Whose job is it to fix jobs?

Serious question.

Because we've spent two weeks documenting the problem:
The economy is growing without creating jobs.
Every system we built assumes you have one.

And now we're stuck in this weird in-between where the old model is dying but the new one hasn't been built yet.

So.

Who actually builds it?

There are options on the table.
Universal Basic Income. Job guarantees. Negative income tax. Portable benefits. Wage subsidies.
Some combination of all of them.

But every option requires someone to take responsibility.
And this is where it gets interesting.
👉Individuals are told: reskill constantly, build multiple income streams, create your own safety net.
👉Corporations say: not our problem, we're optimizing for shareholders.
👉Government says: too expensive, too complicated, too politically fraught.

Meanwhile:
📈Corporate profits are rising.
🫓Worker income is stagnating.
🤫And the spending power that keeps the whole economy running is quietly eroding.

Someone has to maintain that buffer.
Someone has to build the infrastructure.
Someone has to decide whether we do this deliberately or let people fall through the gaps while we argue.

Right now?
We're in full Spider-Man-pointing-at-Spider-Man mode.
Everyone thinks it's someone else's job.

Not predictions. Not panic.
Just the honest assessment of what's on the table and who's responsible for making it happen.
